The XeRun XR8 SCT inherits the classic design of the XR8 Plus; it's another heavyweight  specially designed for RC car racing based on continuous analysis of technical requirements raised by professionals and repeated comparisons with other competitive speed controllers on the market.

The XeRun XR series of ESCs have been performing great at various competitions, no matter the XR10 Pro 160A or the XR10 Pro 1S or the XR8 Plus. The XeRun XR8 SCT not only inherits the excellent quality and driving feel of the XeRun XR series, but carries forward the features of XR8 Plus. All of this makes the XeRun XR8 SCT a great ESC in practical applications.

The XR8 SCT is the first 1/8th competition ESC which can work the full-sensored mode at all times (when pairing it with a matching motor).The small (30.1% smaller than XR8 Plus) and light (36.5g lighter than XR8 Plus) structure greatly simplifies the installation (esp. for vehicles like buggy and touring car with compact chassis). The high voltage internal BEC with an output current of up to 15 Amp and a switchable output voltage of 6V-7.4V allows users to use various high torque and high voltage servos.The turbo timing technology implemented by the XR8 SCT unleashes the maximum power of the motor. The capacitor thermal protection (also implemented by the XR8 SCT) effectively prevents capacitors from exploding and causing irreversible damage to the ESC due to overload.

The XR8 SCT provides an exceptionally smooth off-throttle coasting function, which simulates the feeling of inertia and momentum of a large-scale car driving experience. This can greatly improve the performance of builds utilizing large, high-powered motors as electromagnetic dragbecomes a substantial factor in sudden deceleration when in the off-throttle position, adversely affecting driving performance and overall maneuvering.

With  "WiFi Express" module and iPhone or an Android phone (with the WiFi Link software installed), the user can remotely program parameters, upgrade firmware and check relevant data of the ESC without leaving the control stand.

The high-efficiency cooling system, the advanced and secure electronic switch, the reliable hardware, and the advanced software make the ESC provide extremely "aggressive" output power, be protected by multiple real-time protections, and have the excellent driving feel at the same time.
